The First Chance U Foundation is excited to announce that they will be offering three $1000 scholarship opportunities to high school students in San Diego County, CA, King or Pierce County, WA, and Maricopa County, AZ. This scholarship is open to high school students who are graduating in 2024.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be residents of the designated locations where the scholarship is being offered and complete the listed requirements.
The deadline for the scholarship application is April 30th 2023!

1. Where should applicants submit their documents?

2. When and how will scholarship winners be notified?

The scholarship committee will review all applications and announce the winners by email May 15th 2024.

a) Reflect on a personal challenge you have overcome and discuss how it has shaped your character and aspirations for the future.
b) Imagine you have been granted the opportunity to implement a positive change in your school or local community. What change would you make, and how would you go about implementing it?
c) First Chance U is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth to pursue education, career aspirations and athletics. Reflect on a time when you have demonstrated resilience and determination in the face of adversity, and discuss how this experience aligns with the mission of First Chance U.
