About First Chance U Sports Management

First Chance U. Sports Management is rooted in a growth mindset and dedicated to helping athletes gain exposure, expand their reach, and elevate their athletic careers. Grounded in the core pillars of mentorship, education, and community outreach established by the First Chance U. Foundation (501(c)(3)), our approach places the athlete at the center of an ever-evolving high school and collegiate sports landscape.
As sports continue to become increasingly professionalized at every level, athletes face heightened expectations from day one—both on and off the field. We believe success requires more than representation.
We don’t just manage players; we develop athletes holistically. While sports careers may be temporary, education, character, and personal growth endure. Our mission is to help every athlete maximize their potential, build a meaningful and lasting brand, and become the best version of themselves—on the field and beyond.
Cultivate. Elevate. Expand
That’s First Chance U

Jamar Taylor
Jamar Taylor, a San Diego native and proud Helix High alum, has built his life around competition, community, and growth. After earning his Bachelor’s in Communications and beginning a Master’s in Kinesiology at Boise State, he became one of the school’s most respected defensive backs—earning First Team All-Mountain West honors three times and All-Academic recognition four straight years. Drafted in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, Jamar’s nine-year career included time with the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers. Since retiring in 2021, he’s focused on real estate investing and development in Phoenix/Scottsdale while expanding his First Chance U Foundation to empower youth through sports, education, and community programs. Now, with First Chance U Sports Management, Jamar mentors athletes to thrive in the NIL and NFL space—instilling that while football is temporary, character, education, and impact last forever.
